2023 Categories

  • Most Creative Recruitment Campaign

    This award recognises creativity within recruitment campaigns, particularly when dealing with hard-to-fill roles, staffing new business areas, or recruiting for organisations that may not have the most attractive employer brand or profile. It can include social media, job boards, direct sourcing, or other channels. Judges will look for examples of creativity and innovative thinking that have delivered results.

  • Internal Mobility Initiatives

    At a time when Internal Mobility within an organisation has become a recruitment and retention priority, the judges will look for evidence of how In House recruitment teams have been able to source and engage talent from the existing employee pool to help fill urgent roles internally. Judges will look for examples showing ease of application and use of internal capability and performance data.

  • Best Hiring Manager Initiative

    This award will recognise the work done by In House Recruitment Teams in building and developing strong relationships with hiring managers to help deliver first class interviewing and hiring experiences for candidates. Judges will look for evidence of up-skilling, information sharing and involvement of hiring managers the overall recruitment process.

  • Most Successful Supplier Partnership

    This category will recognise the most outstanding partnership between In House Recruitment teams and suppliers. Submissions should show how the supplier has met, or exceeded, expectations with timely, creative, innovative and cost effective delivery which has enabled the In House Recruitment team to deliver exceptional results for their business. Partnerships can be with any supplier from (but not limited to) the technology, creative services, assessment...

  • Most Innovative Use of Technology

    This award will recognise the most creative and innovative use of technology, AI or virtual reality to boost the attraction, interviewing, assessment and selection of candidates. The judges will look for candidate and/or hiring manager testimonials to back up any achievements and evidence of how the technology was used to deliver results.

  • Best Candidate Experience

    This category will identify outstanding innovation by an employer’s staff (directly employed) recruitment team and recognises outstanding creativity, innovation and effectiveness in providing an inclusive, seamless, user-friendly, role relevant and responsive application process for candidates. It may also include developing and executing an effective onboarding strategy for new recruits that has led to the achievement of strategic business goals.

  • Best Diversity & Inclusion Initiative

    This award will recognise initiatives that demonstrate active efforts to widen the talent pool by encouraging and facilitating applications from candidates with diverse backgrounds including ethnicity, age, gender, disability and those on the neurodiversity spectrum. Judges will be looking for equal opportunities across the entire recruitment process, particularly in the removal of all bias from candidate interview and assessment, and will look for clearly articulated...

  • Best use of Employer Branding

    This award will recognise the creation and communication of an employer brand that accurately both reflects life at the organisation and engages and attracts candidates. The judges will look for examples of how the brand, and campaign, have positively impacted recruitment and retention within the organisation.  Entries should include examples of how the brand has been used.

  • Best Future Talent Initiative

    This award will recognise first class creativity, innovation and effectiveness in developing and executing a recruitment programme for hiring emerging talent (which can include school leavers, graduates and/or apprentices) with particular emphasis on how this has the business to achieve their strategic commercial goals.

  • In House Recruitment Leader of the Year

    This award will recognise the In House Recruitment Leader who has had the greatest positive impact on their team and the overall business, with particular focus on how the team were managed, how well individual recruiters were able to upskill and progress, and the satisfaction of the business with the quality of results delivered.

  • InHouse Recruitment Team of the year (1500 employees or less)

    This category will identify outstanding innovation by an employer's staff (directly employed) recruitment team and recognises outstanding creativity, innovation and effectiveness in providing an inclusive, seamless, user-friendly, role relevant and responsive application process for candidates. It may also include developing and executing.

  • InHouse Recruitment Team of the Year (more than 1500 employees)

    This category will identify outstanding innovation by an employer's staff (directly employed) recruitment team and recognises outstanding creativity, innovation and effectiveness in providing an inclusive, seamless, user-friendly, role relevant and responsive application process for candidates. It may also include developing and executing.
