The National Exhibition for In-House Recruitment Professionals

Unlocking Opportunities and Developing Skills and Knowledge: Countdown to the 10th Edition of InHouse Recruitment Expo

We’re counting down to the InHouse Recruitment Expo 24, our 10th edition!  On February 27th recruiters, leaders, analysts, experts, suppliers, and partners will be coming to London’s ExCel Arena to meet, engage, share, and learn, in what promises to be our biggest show yet!

Our team have been fine-tuning the event schedule, adding new speakers and partners, and leaving no stone unturned as we aim to deliver a seamless, enlightening, and enriching experience for all attendees. Our line-up of speakers is one of our strongest yet, with seasoned professionals and thought leaders set to share their insights, strategies, and best practices. And we have new event partners to help make this expo an even more immersive and impactful event.

For this event we are proud to have partnered with Carma, who specialise in carbon neutral, planet positive, impact solutions. Their mission is to make businesses’ journey towards climate action effortless and budget-friendly, by giving them the tools they need to become planet-positive through nature-based solutions. Our partnership with them means that every single attendee at our event will be making a direct impact on both social and environmental front, taking strides against climate change, and helping make businesses more sustainable.

We have also partnered with John Cassidy – The Headshot Guy. His team will take professional headshots for your CV, LinkedIn profile, or portfolio. You will find them on Stand D1 and, as it’s our 10th edition, we’ve made sure that everyone’s first headshot will be complimentary!

We have two new areas at the Expo that you must visit! In the Performance Zone Colin Minto – an international performance, resilience, burnout & wellbeing expert – will be running sessions through the day on discovering what burnout and resilience are, and how recruiters and their leaders can spot the signs and help empower their people. We will also have two sessions, at 11.10 and 14.50, of Yoga While You Work, led by workplace wellbeing coordinator, Kallika Bruce.

And in our Business Lounge you can pre-book, and schedule, 10-minute sessions to meet our exhibitors and partners.

Amongst our exhibitors we are pleased to welcome Tribepad for the first time. They will be displaying how their ATS and CRM, can make recruitment fairer, faster, and better for everyone. James Pratt, their head of solutions, will be running an afternoon masterclass session analysing their data on which biases candidates worry about most when they apply, and what practical steps recruiters can take to be inclusive.

We will also hear from exhibitor ENEI – The Employers Network for Equality & Inclusion. Their Diversity & Inclusion lead, Emma Jennings, will run a session on the candidate journey, looking at key DE&I considerations during the recruitment cycle, including unconscious bias and inclusive communication.

Improving social mobility to enable everyone to live the lives they want, and build the careers they need, is another priority for many organisations and we are happy to be able to welcome social mobility charity CoachBright who will give us an overview of the state of social mobility in the UK today, whilst also offering practical advice and guidance on how coaching in the workplace can help our people to achieve their goals, and help also help us to attract and retain a diverse talent pool.

With 2024 seeing an increase in skills-based hiring approaches we are pleased to host Start from Today, an organisation that helps HR leaders to get an overview of the existing skills in their teams and recruit for any gaps in skillsets. In an afternoon masterclass session, their CEO Roman Tarabrin will explain how you can start recruiting based on skillsets rather than experience and education.

And we can’t forget 2024’s other key trend, the increasing use of AI. Felix Mitchell, CEO of exhibitors Instant Impact, will lead a seminar in which he shares their latest research and insights, gathered from over 300 Heads of InHouse Recruitment and HR, on how AI, automation and talent intelligence are re-shaping the recruitment landscape.

In our not-to-be-missed final seminar session Emily Moffat, Head of Talent at investors Fearless Adventures, will look at the transformative role of InHouse recruiters, sharing how and why directors should empower and elevate their InHouse teams.

And don’t forget our keynote panel when analyst Mervyn Dinnen, performance coach Colin Minto, senior recruitment manager Emi Beredugo, and Rachel Dalboth, the Director of the Forum for InHouse Recruitment Managers’ Centre of Excellence, will talk about how InHouse Recruitment has evolved and changed during the 10 years we have been hosting these events. The session is called ‘From LI to AI’ and they will be looking for audience participation and your questions!

The 10th edition of InHouse Recruitment Expo is an event not to be missed! And we can’t wait to welcome you to the ExCel Arena! Make sure you and your team have registered for the event and, if you haven’t already, then start booking your places in the seminar and masterclass sessions to hear the speakers who will shine a light on how to achieve your talent goals in 2024. And don’t forget to schedule your appointments with our exhibitors and partners in the Business Lounge and Performance Zone too!
