Waiver of Liability Agreement relating to COVID-19

IN CONSIDERATION of being permitted to enter and remain at the premises (the “Venue”) hosting the specified VAB Events Ltd ( VAB ) event (the “Event”) I, on behalf of myself and my heirs, assignees, next of kin, and/or legally appointed or designated representatives, hereby acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

• ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS OF COVID-19. I fully understand that:
• ASSUMPTION OF RISKS, HAZARDS AND DANGERS
• WAIVER OF LAWSUIT / LIABILITY
• The novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization and is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death, and there is an inherent danger and risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any place where people are present;
• Exposure to COVID-19 can result in subsequent quarantine, illness, disability, other short-term and long-term physical and/or mental health effects, and/or death.

(b) Whilst QBM has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19, VAB Events Ltd cannot eliminate the risk of exposure to the disease. Therefore by choosing to attend the Event, I may be exposing myself to and/or increasing my risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19;

I have read and understand the above warning concerning COVID-19. I, on behalf of myself and related persons, hereby fully understand and knowingly, voluntarily and irrevocably, assume all risks, hazards and dangers related to entry into, and presence in the Event, which may include an increased risk of exposure to communicable diseases, including, without limitation, COVID-19.

I hereby forever release and waive my right to bring suit against VAB Events Ltd and its owners, officers, directors, managers, officials, trustees, agents, employees, or other representatives for fault in connection with exposure, infection, and/or spread of COVID-19 related to attending this event.

I understand that this waiver means I give up my right to bring any claim, including but not limited to damages or losses caused by negligence, including but not limited to death, bodily injury, illness, economic loss, property loss, or out of pocket expenses, which I, my heirs, assignees, next of kin, and/or legally appointed or designated representatives, may have, or which may hereafter arise from my participation with this Event.

I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS AGREEMENT. I UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS AND I AM AWARE OF ITS LEGAL CONSEQUENCES, INLCUDING THAT I AM HEREBY WAIVING MY RIGHTS CONCERNING LIABILITY AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.
