The National Exhibition for In-House Recruitment Professionals

Make Sure You Register for InHouse Recruitment Expo 2023!

It’s almost time for the 9th InHouse Recruitment Expo! Returning to London’s Olympia we will be bringing our successful mix of learning, research, networking, and knowledge sharing to Olympia’s new West Hall Level 1 on 23rd May.

As we move through 2023, InHouse Recruitment is firmly in the spotlight. Current research shows that over half of recruitment teams have been through a major shift in how they operate, with an even larger number feeling increased pressure to show value to stakeholders. Priorities remain as the need to improve quality of hire, quality of candidate experience and diversity in their hiring.

Candidate expectations of a seamless, focused hiring process have heightened, particularly with the advent of conversational AI and generative AI now bringing technology firmly into the candidate sourcing and assessment stages. And with company culture becoming an even bigger factor in deciding whether to accept or reject offers, the need to build a strong employer brand has never been greater in the digital age.

Our line-up of speakers includes practitioners, consultants, analysts, and technology experts, all ready to share the knowledge, experiences, and research. Having mentioned how company culture is becoming a main differentiator between great places to work, and a tool to attract candidates our closing Masterclass will be from Sinead Scott Lennon, from A Better Workplace, on the five pillars of a great culture, with advice on how to engage senior team members and get them on board for a culture revamp.

Also, in our afternoon Masterclass sessions you can hear Rowan Mariott, from Audience Link (who are a strategic partner of Jobswipe) talk about finding meaningful candidate applications, offering insight and advice on what changes you can make to ensure you not only find the candidates you need, but can actually get them over the line to accept offers too.

Internal Mobility is key in helping to fill skills gaps, and in one of our key seminar sessions, Ana Pinto & Daria Levitskya from the HR team, at Schneider Electric, will be explaining to us how artificial intelligence has helped Schneider Electric’s employees to own their own careers and transform the way they recruit, and approach succession planning.

Dan Wells from Talent Point will be offering insight into embedding an effective hiring process, with some not to be missed advice on reducing time to hire and increasing retention through alignment, assessment, and acquisition. In a key session, Lucy Pidgeon & Derek Chapman from Vodafone will be talking about their operating model, and how they navigate periods of peaks and troughs in hiring demand with a flexible resourcing model.

Make sure you also visit our TA/RecTech Theatre! For the first time, we are hosting a special area to give you insights into the latest technologies. We will be running panel sessions on buying technology that delivers ROI, overcoming the internal and behavioural barriers to successful technology adoption, what successful technology implementation should look like, and whether Generative AI is friend or foe for the InHouse Recruitment team!

You will also get the chance to meet a wide range of exhibitors. Our gold sponsors are Diverse Jobs Matter, a job board promoting diversity and inclusion across the recruitment process. Jobswipe is the world’s biggest job app, helping you to source candidates from more than 10 social media channels, whilst Amiqus’ digital tool helps recruiters and HR teams streamline onboarding, compliance checks and pre-employment processes. Jobserve will also be joining us. They are the UKs number one IT job board with a legacy of successfully helping candidates and clients for almost 30 years.

Intrro will be showcasing the centralised tool for managing the entire employee referral process, and Jobg8’s advertising network can help you reach the jobseekers you need at low cost. SourceMore+ are a recruitment marketing agency that work closely with your InHouse recruitment team to supercharge Employer Brand to help drive targeted campaigns to attract the candidates you need.

And you must visit our Digital Detox area too! You will be able to have a massage and hear about other relaxation techniques. They offer massage, desk yoga, mindfulness, relaxation workshops & health screening to help manage your employees’ wellbeing. Just make sure you don’t switch off from our amazing content!
