  • Attracting and Embracing Neurodiverse Talent

  • Neurodiversity refers to a world where neurological differences are recognised and respected as any other human variation. This includes people with dyslexia, dyspraxia (DCD), dyscalculia, Autism and ADHD. Approximately 15% of the population of the UK are neurodiverse - representing a significant proportion of existing portion of job applicants and future talent. As neurodifferences are often invisible or masked, this group often doesn't have the prevalence of other groups on the D&I agenda. And we believe  by removing organisational barriers, this group has so much to contribute to performance, creativity and innovation within organisations.

     

    In this session, we will explore how organisations are missing an opportunity by failing to embrace neurodiversity. We will explore some practical and simple reasonable adjustments that can be made throughout the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring organisations can tap into the benefits and competitive advantage of neurodiverse talent.
